Privacy policy

BestQualify is a free mortgage-credit education website from Credit Technologies, Inc. (“Credit Technologies,” “we,” “us”). This policy explains what we collect when you use bestqualify.com, and what we don’t.
The short version
- You can use everything on this site without telling us who you are.
- What you enter in the calculator or your plan stays in your browser. It is never sent to us, to a lender or to anyone else unless you choose to share it yourself.
- We measure how the site is used, anonymously, so we can improve it. We don’t sell your information, share it for advertising, or use advertising cookies.
What we collect
Usage information. When you visit, we use Google Analytics to understand which pages are read and how people move through the site. It records things like:
- the pages you view;
- the steps you complete;
- whether you used the calculator or copied or printed your plan;
- your browser type;
- your general location (city or region, not your address).
It does not record what you type or select in the calculator or plan: no scores, prices or down payments. It does not record your name, email address or phone number.
Page-speed information. Cloudflare Web Analytics measures how quickly pages load. It uses no cookies and collects no personal information.
Technical logs. Our hosting provider keeps standard security logs (such as IP addresses and request times) for a short period to protect the site against abuse.
What you choose to send us. If you use our contact form, we receive your name, email address, the topic you choose and your message, and use them only to respond. The form is delivered by email to our customer service team through our email provider, Resend, which keeps a copy for a limited period under its own terms. The website itself stores nothing you send. Please don’t include your Social Security number, account numbers or credit details; we can’t discuss anyone’s credit file here, and your lender can.
Service providers. We use a small number of providers to run this site: Cloudflare (hosting and page-speed measurement), Google (anonymous usage analytics) and Resend (delivering contact-form messages). They process information only to provide those services.
What we don’t do
- We don’t sell your personal information.
- We don’t share it with anyone for targeted advertising.
- We don’t use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
- We don’t pull or see your credit report. BestQualify is education; any credit report is ordered by the lender you choose.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets cookies on your device to tell visits apart. They contain no information that identifies you by name. You can:
- block or delete cookies in your browser settings;
- use Google’s opt-out browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout);
- turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser. We honor that signal: if your browser sends it, this site does not load Google Analytics at all.

This site links to other sites, including credittechnologies.com, state housing agencies and program sources. Their privacy practices are their own.

Children
This site is for adults planning to buy a home. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to know, access, correct or delete personal information about you. We hold very little. To make a request, email privacy@credittechnologies.com.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top. Significant changes will also be noted on the home page for a reasonable period.
